Snapper Snow Blowers

Snapper snow blowers

Snapper snow blowers, as you would, expect come in the famous Snapper red color and are manufactured to the same high standards that the Snapper company is well known for.

Although Snapper is now owned by the Briggs and Stratton Power Products Group, Snapper retains its independence as a separate division in the Briggs and Stratton group.

Naturally enough, though, all models in the Snapper snow blowers range feature the Briggs and Stratton Snow Series engine that will start at temperatures as low as -20 degrees F.

The Snapper range consists of series of snow blowers that cover every area of need, from simple single stage homeowner models to those used by the pros.

Here is the full line-up:

  • The Compact Single Stage Series: This series features 22 inch wide machines with wear resistant augers that clear down to the ground and are thus ideal for clearing hard surfaces around the home.
  • Mid-Frame Dual Stage Series: The entry point two stage snow blowers, this series features models with widths between 24 and 29 inches, engines between 9 and 14.5 gross torque and retail prices between about $850 and $1150.
  • Large Frame Dual Stage Series:These snow blowers come in models between 26 and 30 inches wide and feature engines ranging between 11.5 to 16.5 gross torque. These retail for as much as $1650.
  • Large Frame Dual Stage Series:The one model in this series is as good as it gets when it comes to Snapper snow blowers. It justifies its fairly hefty price tag by its size (38 inches wide) and by its performance which is driven by a 16.50 gross torque Briggs and Stratton Professional Series engine.

Snapper snow blowers are undoubtedly some of the best around. Like most things in life, you get what you pay for. Snappers are renowned for justifiying the prices they command.
