January 2011: Honda announced the recall of 18500 snowblowers due to a safety hazard caused by potential fuel leaks from the fuel tank joint located underneath the tank.

The models affected are as follows:

Model Frame Serial Number
HS724 SZBE-1037913 through 1046577
HS928 SZAS-1151080 through 1169012
HS1132 SZBF-1018734 through 1025998

These models are red and black in colour and were sold at Honda power equipment dealers between April 2005 and November 2010.

If your model is affected you can contact any Honda power equipment dealer to arrange for a free replacement of the tank joint and sealing ring.
